I Finished Sweat It To Shred It
It’s been 8 weeks and I am so proud to say I finished one of Sarah’s famous e-books.
Let’s get some basic information out there first so you know who and what I’m talking about. Sarah is a YouTuber who I love and admire. She’s from Australia and while she mainly focuses her content on her heath and fitness, she also vlogs and share all about her life in general. I’ve been obsessed with her for years and keep up with her content constantly. Even though she’s gotten a ton of success and has “little” projects like her e-books, protein balls and activewear line… she’s still pretty relatable on a day-to-day basis. Which is why I still keep up with her, and value her advice and thoughts.
what’s an e-book?
I’ve done a ton of fitness e-books. Basically it’s just an online book full of workouts. So while I’ve done a bunch before, Sarah’s has always been one I’ve been interested in. The first e-book she created is body weight only, which means I could do it anytime and anywhere.
So I completed it and am proud to say I finished it. It’s crazy because when I started it, I felt good about my body. My self-image was the best it had ever been, even though I knew my body wasn’t at it’s best. I felt good. I knew it wasn’t the strongest it had been, but I felt good.
Here’s my starting point… I’ve been scared to post these pictures btw. Scared what people will think, but here they are. Because you can’t really validate the after without showing the before.
Even though I had been to a few yoga classes every week before this point, I hadn’t actively been taking care of my body or really trying to be fit at all. I didn’t have any intention or intense motivation. So I would say I was pretty average. I wasn’t overweight or unhealthy by any means… I was actually considered average when I looked at the numbers. So it was a good starting point to be in.
So the first few were rough, really rough… but it was exactly what it needed to be and by the halfway point I felt solid. I could get through the workouts and I started to notice a difference in my body. I felt great!
Of course halfway through the book, the workouts got even harder. Week five got even more challenging with new moves and more days filled with workouts. It kicked my ass and it was great, and everything it needed to be! So I carried on for four more weeks and here we are now. Feeling awesome and realizing I have to get rid of some clothes that don’t fit quite right anymore.
There wasn’t as huge of a difference in the last lap, but that’s okay. I still feel so much better than I did before. I feel stronger and have more energy. I feel even more confident in my body and while I’m more than content, I’m ready to take on the next challenge.
And here are all the images side by side, because that definitely helps visually see the change.
cue the next e-book
So the next e-book begins today, just as I ended the first. At first, I thought I should give myself a break, but I realized I have so much momentum that I shouldn’t stop. So on to the next one!
Hope you enjoyed this little review and snip-it of my experience. If you have any questions about it, reach out!
