One time my friend told me that I’m not a concert person and that she could never picture me at a concert… I was kinda offended but it’s understandable since I normally choose not to spend my money on a lot of concerts. For instance, the homecoming concert in the fall and then spring jam on campus. But it’s not that I don’t like concerts. I’m just extremely picky on who I choose to spend my money on. Iggy - no; some rapper that only has one song I know - no thanks. But Adele - hell yes. I mean come on, it’s Adele.
She was incredible. I want to be her best friend, especially after her concert. First off, she sounded incredible. No voice cracks, no stumbles or anything. And unlike a lot of artists, she sounded so real and amazing live. I bet when she goes to record in the studio they barely have to edit her voice, because that’s just how fricken amazing she is. Ugh. I can’t get over how great she was. Not only her voice, but her personality was awesome. She was hilarious and so genuine. Nothing felt rehearsed or fake. She was really there and she nailed the whole thing. Plus, it was just Adele. There was no need for fancy backup dancers, any prerecorded music or multiple costume changes. Just Adele and her awesome voice with some lighting and a great backdrop so we could all see her up close and personal. I know I'm just rambling. There's no structure or organization to this post mainly because I don't think that I could personally even begin to organize my thoughts. All I know is that she was incredible and I had a fantastic time... even though most of her songs are depressing and I was in the nosebleed seats. Ugh. I can't get over it. It was too good.
Here’s like a “vlog” (i guess) or clips from the night.
