Chicago + Schaumburg 2016
The last time I went to Chicago was my senior year of high school, so I was pumped when my friend/co-worker, Karissa and I signed up for a trip for work with Just For Kix (google it if you don't know what that is). And the work itself was definitely not the most amazing thing ever, but it was pretty easy and relatively fun, so it was so far from bad.
Now I love my job but I have to admit that the best part of the trip was after work (I think most would agree with that on a daily basis). That's when the real exploring began. Specifically, exploring around Chicago and doing all the classic touristy things that everyone else does. The Bean, Millennium Park, the Magnificent Mile and some deep dish pizza. All cliche, but all still wonderful.
For this trip I decided to do something a little different. I still made a video, but decided to do it like a vlog. If you don't know what that is then honestly go in youtube and type it in. In short, it's blogging but using video instead. So instead of writing about each day, I got it on camera and talked about it. I've always been interested in vlogging ever since I came across Casey Neistat on YouTube (go watch his vlogs... he's so cool) and have been itching to try it out. So here's my first (and hopefully not my last) vlog. Enjoy pals. (:
